KENTUCKY BOARD OF LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELORS

The Kentucky Board of Licensed Professional Counselors administers and enforces its statutory authority and monitors the needs of the consuming public. The board examines and licenses all eligible candidates for entry into the profession as a professional counselor. It recommends appropriate changes in the law to assure fairness and equality. The board conducts formal hearings when necessary and prosecutes by due process any violators of KRS 335.500.

Public comment will be taken starting today and will end on Aug. 4, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MT, unless a public hearing is specifically requested.
