Supervision Training

201 KAR 36:030 requires that any licensed professional clinical counselor, and all other professions providing supervision (including licensed psychologist or certified psychologist with autonomous functioning, licensed clinical social worker, licensed psychiatrist, nurse with a master’s degree in psychiatric certification, or licensed marriage and family therapist) for licensed professional counseling associates (LPCA), complete board-approved supervision training by Oct. 31, 2010, in order to continue
providing supervision. This training is mandatory for all persons providing supervision for an LPCA, whether or not your respective board requires its own training.
